Cigarbochs

Cigarbochs is a concept of a derivative of the Bochs IBM-PC emulator with a variety of different design goals. These include:

• CPU ISA is bounded from the Intel 8086/8088 to the i686 Pentium Pro architectures
• Implemented in ANSI C and potentially C*, not C++
• Exclusively runs on POSIX-compatible Unices, chief amog them Linux
• Solely uses the SeaBIOS as its PC BIOS implementation
• Drops support for USB, SMP, the Sound Blaster 16, the ES1370 and the Voodoo graphics card
• Adds the flagship CL-GD5480 graphics chip in addition to the other two Cirrus Logic cards
• Adds the EtherLink III NIC in addition to the NE2000

Cigarbochs is meant to better serve as a reflective debugging emulator for the Sirius DOS research platform and later Anodyne itself.
